Established for the profession of public vehicle service provider. The main types are taxis and passenger vans. Therefore, they gathered together to brainstorm ideas on ways to improve and develop. With awareness of participation among users of public car services and public car service providers To raise the level of public car service to standards that can be accepted and practiced in a concrete way.

A meeting was held by the Confederation of Public Car Drivers and Public Car Users, chaired by Mr. Weeraphon Kaewmanee, President of the Public Vehicle Drivers’ Confederation of Thailand.
Purpose of the Meeting
All participants joined in brainstorming to establish guidelines for upgrading public car services to recognized and practical standards in the future.

The meeting emphasized the need for drivers to:

Build a passion for the profession and a volunteer spirit

Help society and contribute to the country
It also highlighted the importance of:

Promoting and supporting drivers who are moral, responsible, and compliant with professional regulations

Encouraging such drivers to be role models in the industry

Expanding opportunities to enhance the quality of life for drivers, which will in turn improve service quality and user safety
Meeting Resolution
The meeting resolved to establish five organizations to support these goals:

Foundation for the Protection of Public Vehicle Users

Professional Council of Thai Public Bus Drivers

Thailand Public Vehicle Drivers Professional Council Cooperative Limited

Public Vehicle Driver Development Institute

Community Enterprises
Once these five organizations are fully established, they will be upgraded into a professional organization, as deemed appropriate.
